Label ClimateHotel
The ClimateHouse agency presented the new label “ClimateHotel” at the ClimateHouse congress ‘09 in Bozen. It is a new quality seal for sustainable hotels and tourism infrastructure. The necessity for introducing this new quality seal is due to the increasing number of people who are looking for sustainability, health and well being not only in their own homes, but also during their leisure time.
The ClimateHotel quality seal gives an orientation on the performance of the building to investors already during the planning stages. In addition it helps reduce energy consumption and cost during utilization. The hotel can display quality criteria and practical protection of the environment and climate using the seal.
The new quality seal will be tested in the coming months on two projects.
